Honestly, I never felt when they actually fell in love. Out of nowhere, Jaekyung would suddenly love him and buy him rings and cake. I like BJ Alex better because there you could see a better progression and evolution in how they fell in love. Jinx gained a lot of popularity, but the manhwa lacks development to me.
I think it can be described subconsciously JK was romantically attracted to KD from the start but since he doesn’t know or recognize love he only recognized he was sexually attracted to KD and didn’t want anyone else so he went to get KD for sex/jinx/ I just want things the way they were but with KD no longer being emotionally open to him and becoming kind of suicidal then them spending more time together on a human level and the sex alone with no affection from KD being empty for JK made JK more aware he had feelings for him, he started being aware of his affection for KD and tried to get to know KD / romance him lowkey and finally culminating in KD healing his childhood wounds at the ocean and the stabbing made him realize for sure. Anyway the storyline wasn’t so different from BJ Alex and for me I prefer Jk/KD to Alex/dg though I’m not 100% sold on JK/KD i really didn’t see the emotional chemistry or personality chemistry of Alex/dg it felt like fanboy living out his sex dreams on reality and Alex having an outlet for sex I know it explained the transition to Alex falling for him but I didn’t care for their relationship chemistry so I guess to each their own
