I never really thought much of the side story until after rereading this who knows how many times but Kano is wild for going after the guy who intended to hurt and kidnap one of his best friends dude only stuck around to help Kano get to the hospital and gave those fruit baskets/money because he got the wrong person. He didn't show remorse... I kinda feel bad for Aoi. His friend doesn't care about him cus he's down so bad and for what skipping the side story from now on
Aoi and Ryo's story is so beautiful and makes me cry every time. I do wish they didn't completely pass over the bullying in the past, It didn't feel resolved to me personally. But the scene where Aoi met his idol and partners father was really unforgettable.
