Is someone kind enough to explain to me the plot because I rushed it too much and now I’m lost lo,
So from what I understand. The ML purposefully copied MC stage name “Happy” and meeting him was no coincidence. He’s trying to find a connection between his dads disappearance and the incident with the MC. It seems like his dad has something to do with the drugs. This has led him to find out everything that’s happened with the MC. The MC was in a group and found out one of the members was partying and doing drugs, he tried to stop him but the asshole drugged him and he was caught. This caused controversy and their group disbanded after only being together for a year. The asshole had been out of the country since (it seems). It also seems like he’s been guilting or blackmailing the MC. The drugs side effect is that it causes a disruption in the brain that causes the user to not be able to feel happiness or feeling associated with happiness when they don’t take the drug. It’s why the MC’s emotions and reactions seem lackluster at times. Luckily his other members don’t seem to blame him but two of them (the streamer and gamer) didn’t know what had happened to MC to cause him to keep his distance from him. Rn the MC and ML are working on doing a collaboration. ML is trying to help the MC by being there for him and supporting him. Now it seems like the asshole is back in Korea and doesn’t seem like he’s going to like that the MC has found someone to lean on.
This story was confusing to me at first, especially since it has a lot of episodes of just them hanging out. Definitely a slow burn
I dont think he copied the stage name or knew before he noticed the signs, i think he chose happy bc of the drugs. Which is ironically the same reason jaeyoung got his name too

Yess that is also how I see it. My full theory is that seungmin named himself happy bc that's the name of the drugs that his runaway dad can recognize once he gets famous. Hence why he said "He had" to be famous so that his dad can probably can recognize it

I actually thought it was maybe to cover up any searches/news of people looking for or talking about the drug. So he becomes what people recognise as happy but yours makes so much more sense.
