This manhwa is freaking cute and good I can't (〜￣△￣)〜
Soooo in the beginning Bum is talking to someone on the phone. I think this is Sangwoo. It can show his ambiguous personality : the part of him who wants to hurt Bum, and the other part who wants him to "go back the way he came". It can also be Seungbae who is trying to warn Bum about the danger, but he doesn't listen to him.
After that Bum walks in the guilty part of his mind. The part that always remind him that he killed Min Jieun.
The movie shows every time Bum felt ashamed, and how he is feared of the reaction of other people. How the eyes of others matter to him.
Then we can see the cute little Seungbae, held by someone (who I think represents his superiors). He is trying to alert Bum but, like in the real story, Bum doesn't listen to him.
The clown represents all the fear of Bum : he doesn't face them, he runs away. And when he can "kill" them ? The gun isn't loaded. I have two explanations : Bum thinks that even if he tried to face his fears, he wouldn't be able to beat them. OR, he doens't believe in the help of Seungbae, the one who gave him the weapon.
The only hope that Bum had when he saw the clown was Sangwoo, but in the end it was just a trap. I think that Bum knows Sangwoo isn't a reliable person, a person that can help him. But he persists to trust Sangwoo.
Aaaaand the clown turns into Sangwoo. I don't know if this mean that the worst Bum's fear is Sangwoo ? Or the contrary ?

It seem like he was running toward Sangwoo for help. In Bum messed up psyche he can count on Sangwoo to help him with his fears. I feel like it was Seungbae on the phone trying to help Bum but as per usual with Bum he is to scared or weak to accept Seungbae's help. You post summed up this chapter very well ! ! !
Coco goddess : I think that Sangwoo is the only person who matters in Bum's life, he have nobody else. So yeah, for Bum it's Sangwoo or nothnig (oh god it's depressing !) And after reflexion, I believe there were two persons on the phone : Seungbae and Sangwoo (since in the end, Sangwoo said "I'm right here", like the person on the phone)
I'm so happy about the turn this story took. I was afraid that Shunta would push
Tamaki too much and wouldn't let him heal from his trauma. Tamaki needs time, and I hope that's what Shunta means when he says to stop the bet
