+ teammates to lovers? guys, this is one of a kind and i devoured it !!! it has horror, psychological thriller, a bit of gore, mysteries, game loop trope? and all the horror or thriller stereotypes put to good use JUST GO READ IT #WORTH_IT (>ᴗ•) !

+ the only premise i'm giving myself is this: 6 friends go on a vacation or adventure together, only to end up in a serial killer's lodging~ twist is, it's a slasher game!

+ idek wanna include spoilers in my review so i'mma keep it minimal goddamn, i've never encountered any story that had this plot before, especially in a BL !!! i was hooked, engrossed, and creeped out because of how well the author framed and set up the story the plot twists were plot twisting (°0°)!!

+ mind you guys, it was 70% about solving the game and getting out of there, but i feel like i loved it more that way? don't worry, we get romantic scenes along the way but i did like the solving & mystery aspect more~ keeps you on edge the whole time ꉂꉂ(ᵔᗜᵔ◍)

+ the only reason why i didn't give this a full five stars is because i lowkey was not a fan of ML... i know he was made to be a selfish, manipulative jerk but,, idk his relationship with MC throughout the game realm didn't sit right with me however, i do think their relationship outside the game would probably be good since he seemed like a nicer guy manifesting for some side stories about them starting from scratch again~

+ overall, this was truly an EXPERIENCE i felt like i was with them the whole time! there weren't any plot holes that i could think of and i was rather satisfied with the ending (✿◡‿◡) the improvement on the author's art style is evident too !! i love LOVED bada's (MC) character design (⁎˃ᴗ˂⁎) we need more characters like him!

+ i also believe the plot of the slasher game itself was well thought out! one thing i was itching to see was the murderer's face though i was waiting for any of them to impulsively take off the killer's mask but oh well,, maybe we get something for the sides?

+ gangster MC x prostitute turned bigshot tycoon ML this is dramatic to say the least HAHA reencounter and fake or contractual engagement (?) trope with a revenge plot gone wrong (well, they fell in love so )

+ i might get crucified for saying this, but i loved this more than pearl boy (◕‿-) i can't even bring myself to reread it because of how pitiful jooha is,, but maybe in the future i'll muster up the courage to do so~ anywho, i think this couple's romance had a bit more oomph for me there were a lot more at stake and i felt their emotions deeply ><

+ also, yuta (ML) is such a strong character that even though he went through a lot, i felt more admiration than pity because he was such a fighter! i love his sass and attitude whenever he orders MC around; but then, we get to see his facade slowly drift after their confession and he gets all shy around MC PRECIOUS!

+ ultimately, i became a devoted cheerleader for their relationship because they've gone through A LOT i'm just happy that now they finally get to make up for all those years they were apart (T_T) hopefully, inking-nim would provide more cutesy and maybe even babysitting side stories 'coz they fosho be on babysitting duties for the boss' baby

+ i lowkey want to mention how much i laughed while reading this too ik it was dramatic, but inking-nim did a great job at putting silly bits here and there! i love their dynamic with tora (MC's dog) and i wheezed when MC faked an amnesia moment on ML THAT'S A FOUL !!! istg i was like, "is this gonna be another jooha moment? " i'm so glad we had none of that !!! but anywho, again this was well made and the art style is HEAVENLY love the growth <3

+ a het psychological thriller where MC kills her abusive husband and shoves him inside an ice cream chest freezer. however, she was appalled when her husband suddenly turns up the next day, acting like nothing happened, but also a bit too kind & innocuous. (°0°)!!

+ did it i caught on the twist? yeah... but i must admit, it took a while to hit i was holding on to the thought that this might all just be her delusion, but i slowly abandoned that guess 'coz her husband kept on interacting with other people HAHA

+ i think the mystery the author left the audience is quite chilling and puzzling. who did she really kill in the first place? ( ◔‸◔ ) also, i didn't expect that ending LIKE WOW! queen slayed (like literally ) it had a full circle moment there~

+ overall, that was a quick, cog-turning piece ^^ art is eerily fitting lowkey craving more mystery or psychological thrillers or like something about spies or a character having to hide something from their S/O hehe

+ doctor MC x motocross racer ML! established couple who broke up because of miscommunication. three years later, ML ends up with an amnesia, but surprisingly he was still drawn to MC so he chases after him again! (⁎˃ᴗ˂⁎)

+ honestly, i didn't expect the whole gangster lore and mystery aspect of this story LMAO! it went from MC and ML's break up to them getting back together and suddenly the accident was because of some shady shit instructed by his family (well, adoptive family)

+ i think this had a lot of potential if only it was executed well! in my opinion, the story progressed to quickly and shoved all the other arcs and plotline altogether

+ however, it wasn't that bad! i did like their development also, ML's attitude got better too! i think they also tied the loose ends in satisfying and proper manner :)) all in all, it was okay (◍•ᴗ•◍) i think they had a fresh pairing which was what enticed me to read it in the first place~ we need more rare pairings like this one !!! the art was pretty good too

+ childhood friends to estranged to friends again to lovers! extrovert x introvert pairing hehe ૮(˶ᵔᵕᵔ˶)ა MC was considered "mr. perfect" because he knew everyone and everything! in contrast, ML was the kid who kept to himself and hid away somewhere far from other people. because of one sentimental interaction, something shifted in MC which made him fall for ML since they were kids. ^^

+ i truly truly wanted to love this 'coz this is one of my favorite tropes, BUT DANG IT i think i just didn't sense ML's feelings that much :(( i do think all the characters were adorable and fun, but i just felt like the romance was lackluster

+ i did find their banter and convos ridiculous and entertaining especially with the whole sex prep thing LMAO BRO! anyway, i wish i find more reencounter tropes with contrasting & witty characters like them~ of course, art style was pretty too!

+ so basically, ML keeps on encouraging MC to sing a love song. however, the latter continuously declines the idea ever since he had his heart broken, until one fateful day

+ jk he just started opening up and decided to sing love songs again i think coz he fell in love with the song ML made anywho, they were cutesy i guess~

+ i wish we had more extras with them dating and making out after a hot live performance i need more BL authors to write about this kind of romance >< also, the art style for this is adorable too—definitely my cup of tea

+ childhood friends to lovers with a supernatural & historical twist so much plot is going on but to cut to the chase this story involves MC who's paid by ML's family to act as his "friend." unbeknownst to him, there was actually a hidden agenda behind this job offer. (>ᴗ•) !

+ idek how to unpack because a lot happened in those 70 episodes i'll tell you that i think the storytelling was great the plot twists hit left and right—it even kept on going until the end! this definitely focused more on the lore & mystery rather than the queer romance itself (◍•ᴗ•◍)

+ honestly, i got attached with these characters because of how immersive the story was! it totally engrossed me to the point of binging it all in a day! however, i do think we slowly reached a plateau towards the middle until the end 'coz the supernatural aspect was a bit hard to grasp

+ if i had a bias, it would probably be midori! so you'll never guess my reaction when the ship arc ended... LMAO! i'm delulu so i do believe that she's still there somewhere i wish we got to see more of her badass aura though i feel like she kinda got nerfed towards the end :'<

+ with the romance aspect though, BRO WHY WAS MC SO INDECISIVE why would you even lead 2nd ML on if you were just going to get back with ML i was lowkey pissed off with their relationship because of how wishy washy MC was ᕙ( ᗒᗣᗕ )ᕗ but anyway, i'm still glad they finally made it clear after a damn decade bro !!!

+ all in all, i think this was still a great find! (♡´･ᴗ･`♡) there aren't a lot of BL stories that really go into depth with mysterious lores so i truly appreciated this author's way of telling the narrative

+ not to mention how obsessed i was with their other work! we need more gripping stories from you, author-nim !! also, the art style is so detailed and filled with character! however, i did notice the fatigue towards the end 'coz the art subtly changed but still kudos for pushing through (⁎˃ᴗ˂⁎)

+ i am absolutely obsessed with both couples they're both so wholesome and sweet <3 i love the age gap & single father trope for S2 couple hehe the ABO au was top tier (⁎˃ᴗ˂⁎) i love seeing S2 ML with a bump! need me more child rearing BLs ૮(˶ᵔᵕᵔ˶)ა

+ i also love reading about established couples and how they navigate external factors that influence their relationship~ in addition, i find it endearing to see both couples lean to each other in times of need

+ ultimately, this manhua is one of the best out there! ^^ it's bite-sized, comforting, and warm to read ₍ᐢ..ᐢ₎♡ the art style is also adorable !! author-nim is still releasing more side stories #hooked! i hope to see more stories with this format hehe ( ˃◡˂ )

+ this was just wholesome through & though slow burn, mutual pining, childhood bffs? c'mon guys they were just yearning for one another :< i don't think it was weird lol, but some might disagree. btw, art was cutesy & the pacing was great!

+ anyway, the only comment i have about this is author could've expanded a bit on MC's past 'coz we don't even know what caused the coma (just that he had a harsh headache?). also, we badly need more of their dating phase !!! we need to see them live together after graduation too

(idrk how to explain the events, but essentially, they had their happily ever after... i think?)

+ honestly, i think it was okay? but, it kinda bugged me how MC literally raised ML but if you think about it, the world's already ending so you'd expect them not to be in the right state of mind

+ i think the twist and how the events unfolded in the end was wholesome though (◞‸◟♡) i guess i'm just glad that they have each other :)) one thing i really liked about this is the ART! gorgeous characters hehe all in all, t'was okay for a short story~ i just wish the pairing didn't feel weird lol
