Somewhat similar to your aforementioned description although it is a shounen ai as well as the romantic relationship is quite not a heated one from the beginning... It is really a slow burn and also the artist seems to be a beginner so maybe the art ain't so fancy but beautiful in its way and the story hooks up while you invest in the plot or give some time and let me remind you that the comic is still ongoing so even I do not know of the ending but the tragedy tag ain't there so hopefully a good ending...)) Have a good read if you still insist to read.
