While I understand the sentiment brothers without a tomorrow has always written about adult men with consent she’s one of the few without problematic storylines I think genuinely she did it for the plot to have a strong me that could go back and survive in his own kingdom while having a seemingly young and underestimated ml who was only forced to marry a man bc he was a child that couldn’t say anything but ends up being the one that takes over that’s also why I believe she left such a huge time gap because she didn’t want them to be falling for eo when one of them is actually a kid idk just my thoughts ur entitled to your own

The deep meaning behind an inherently predatory and pedophilic relationship doesn’t give it the pass??? It’s horrifically disgusting to write stories about relationships like this and frame them in a romantic way—nothing is romantic about imbalanced power dynamics or straight up pedophilia. It doesn’t matter if these are two adult men giving consent, this is still a man who is preying on someone significantly younger than him(which he also RAISED for a couple years) and taking advantage of the irrational feelings that ML has developed for his caretaker. It doesn’t matter who’s taking the first steps to push their relationship forward; being a grown man that must be well into his 30s and someone whom portrayed an almost familial relationship with the ML, the MC is absolutely in the wrong and outrightly disgusting for letting their relationship enter romantic and sexual territory. They are having SEX and he is still thinking back on when the ML was a child—do you not see ANY issue in that? Do you not see a SINGLE flaw in how this relationship is presented as something romantic rather than disgusting??? There’s no excuse for framing serious topics such as these as something to be desired, especially when these plot points didn’t have to exist in the first place. There are plenty of ways to separate two lovers, or two have someone who is viewed as weak to the public NOT actually be weak. Even as a fully grown man, if ordered to by the head honcho of your kingdom, the ML would’ve had to get married without debate. Don’t forget he’s the youngest prince(I think?), so he wouldn’t have much of a say either way. That being said, there are HUNDREDS of other alternatives that the author could’ve taken to the 12-year-timeskip-so-he’s-legal plotline, and the fact that the MC openly reminisces about the times where his love interest was a child shows that the timeskip was only there so she wouldn’t be producing something outrightly illegal. It’s clear that this author doesn’t care for the morality of it, and you defending something like this while failing to recognize everything wrong with it is horrifically disturbing. Your inability to recognize when a plotline is relevant to a story or not—especially one such as this—isn’t good in the slightest.

Idk if we read something different but there was nothing romantic pre timeskip? Like genuinely it was two ppl one being a naive child who was forced into a marriage and the child basically imprints on the mc bc he was one of the only kind ppl to him. I tried to provide a different POV because this this author does not have a record of being weird or pedophilic or writing pedophilic things and thus has the benefit of the doubt when it comes to why she chose this story line and that’s just my opinion on it. Your stance on Ana ur horse character is very rigid and black and white due to one story but Like I said you’re entitled to your own. There’s no need to get snappy or mad about a random manhwa online. It’s okay to stop reading and engaging with stories you don’t like as well.
Considering the fact that the ml is a descendant of natam he couldn’t have the plot line of drugging himself with shaiwaa because he’s wholly devoted to the mc because as soon as he comes of age he would have had the urge to bed ppl and if he remained celibate he would die long before he even met the mc. Then you’ll say he could’ve been having sex with ppl before he meets the mc then he would have had no reason to hold back from him when they meet and this this plot line of his life being in danger because of his devotion couldn’t exist. Tei also sees their relations as a means to an end to save and serve the emperor there’s still no romance here other than shurakas one sided feelings and teis mild affection. Spoilers also mention somehow tei becomes pregnant. I’m willing to bet seeing as there’s no other natam descendants that make males pregnant it’s gonna be a special exception that happened bc of shurakas devotion to one person rather than being promiscuous. That’s why I think it’s part of the plot.

I had to leave this here bc u keep saying ppl are defending pedophilia and grooming when no one is doing that not me at least there being no romance pre timeskip when the ml was a child then them being separated for 12 years literally by definition shows no pedophilia and no grooming. After the timeskip both men are adults and consenting. Tei even tries to push shuraka towards another woman but he cannot refuse shuraka who wants his “bride” bc that is his emperor and Tei sees his role as one to serve shuraka not to love him or seduce him. He only has sex with him bc it’s literally a danger to his life not to have sex. I fear you just haven’t read the story past the first few chapters and that’s okay.
