Lowk I was praying he was going to stay dead forever since I didn’t ever think they had enough chapter or time to make an up to par ending since the whole story has been consistent with its quality in story line. I am glad he’s back but I firmly believe that if you want to bring back a character from the dead in a justified manner where it doesn’t feel like a cop out, You have to make it feel like it was worth it. Chapters of her crying isn’t going to cut it, Yeah we’re told she’s been searching for him for days to weeks, But the only real attempts we see is her reaching out to Erez, And then the nun or whatever figuring out that she made. contract with a devil. Everything has been set up actually, Erez willing to help, All the holy weapons. What lacked was the execution, It didn’t feel like it was building up to anything since it failed to veil the fact that Diabel was definitely coming back. Maybe it was legitimately just me but from the moment he died (which made me cry) and then the moment he came back (sobbed like a baby here), I didn’t ever think to myself “Oh shit what if hes never coming back”. That took me out just a bit. They went for the subtle ending route where yay they’re back together! And how did Diabel come back? Well I think it’s pretty obvious that Erez had a hand in it since why else would they add that scene if not for subtle foreshadowing that he did it, Motive is already clear as day since he’s in love with Ayana, I mean we don’t know how Erez made Tara bring back Diabel, Maybe it had to do something with Tara wanting to disconnect from Erez since he keeps sucking her power? Not sure. So yeah not all loose ends were tied. Overall. It made me cry sooooo much like sobbingヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
