I’ve always loved this authors artsyle. I’ve seen some people talk about how rough it looks, especially in the earlier chapters, but I find it adorable and comforting. I also really enjoy their other works!!

Idk I’m still mad at Dijon and byul for keeping in touch with hyesungs mom…. Like I get it, but no. I feel like they severely overlooked what the grandma actually did, she didn’t just abandon her child, but left him with an abusive father AND she didn’t even look for hyesung at all!!! Ughhhh maybe I just hold too many grudges but I was so upset to see the reunion and the dismissiveness of the whole situation. I feel like hyesungs feelings and trauma were overlooked… idk I’m just rambling atp☹
yea I mentally checked out after that, idk, I feel like it was added for unnecessary conflict between them as a family but they could've chosen any other basic route that didn't have to involve hyesung's trauma
their story is supposed to be over, so adding that in just felt unnecessary because we presumably already closed that chapter
even if they still wanted to add it, it could've been actually dealt with in a complex manner. Instead I feel like it went nowhere since its not supposed to be a main plot line, so it's even more sidelined and useless, kinda disappointing
