aaaa this story is so fun to read! it's pretty well-written to my standard since everything comes to a full circle. the rape was not nice, and the chasing arc could've been longer. the seme's character development is also felt rushed. but that's okay, at least I got two side couples and twins ♡♡♡

okay, after successfully marinating this manhwa, I can say that the story was not as exciting as I thought it'd be. it's like my anticipation for four years was not quenched.
while MMA is considered a fresh topic in BL, I think the plot is mid. tbh I like the conflicts in BJ Alex better than Jinx.
that said, I still appreciate the writer for covering all back stories and resolving the conflicts without leaving a plot hole. at least it's not too disappointing to me. plus, the art is gorgeous, I always like Mingwa's art style.

wooo I finally finished reading this popular story! while I like the main idea of this story and its characters, I feel like there are some unnecessary parts that eat up the episodes (like the sports week part). I think those parts can be used to describe more about the main characters instead.

oh lord yes i have. imo bj alex is carried by nostalgia and cus its seen as a yaoi “classic” cus basically everyone knows it but it’s not that great as ppl make out to be. the top is such ass to the uke for ages and istg the uke is the only ugly uke i’ve ever seen in my time of yaoi reading
honestly i think neither is worth ur time chs theres sm more yaois thst are much better written, have good pacing and amazing art w actual likeable characters. imo jinx was going okay i’d say in season two then the writing and quality js dropped and honestly jaekyungs personality and opinion of dan takes a whole 360 in a single chapter and there wasn’t even like a proper chasing arc and the ending is super rushed.

Just wanted to add that I distinctly remember absolutely hating the uke. Even more than the seme tbh. Idk if I'm misremembering but from the beginning Alex completely rejected Donggyun but he just wouldn't leave him. I also found his obsession with him super creepy cuz he basically knew him only from streams and tied anything he did to it.
The chase arc I liked only because Donggyun gained a brain and finally realized that WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT maybe Alex never had any feelings for him even though he made it very clear every single time. But then it ended... they took that small victory and made the seme suddenly care and so the cycle continues. It's not that I think that Alex is a better person or anything. It's just that at some points he's just comically mean and I just can't take him seriously. Like he doesn't try to hide it in any way and he isn't going out of his way to be around the uke either. So I just didn't really feel anything towards him but even if I did it would pale compared to the second hand embarrassment I got from Donggyun.
So anyways, I hate his guts and his walnut haircut. <3
