I normally don't comment, but this manhwa made my blood boil, so I had no other option.
I read up to chapter 28.
First, the art is beautiful, but the story sucks. the protagonist is intelligent, beautiful, got a doctorate and still manages to be a DUMB AMOEBA.
This is so frustrating to see. Like, wouldn't it be easier for her to run and hide in another kingdom and build a clinic or something?
WHY DO YOU HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS VEX OF HUMILIATING YOURSELF EVERY TIME GIRL AAARRGHHH
like even though she has become "someone else", it makes me gouge out my eyes with a spoon every time some asshole treats her like TRASH because it seems like she doesn't react accordingly. Like girl, if someone hit me like that, I would get a right hook and at least one attempted murder.

I think the reason she can’t leave is because she isn’t divorced, like the main point of the story is for her to get divorced and I don’t think she can run away when she barely has money and her materials in her family home is literally given to her and wasn’t brought by her own money. She is literally trapped because she can’t support herself unless she divorce because her husband and MIL controls the fuck out of her.

I know about that, but what doesn't enter my mind is that she has the memories of being a doctor and barely uses them. Like, she could run away and go from village to village healing commoners for a little money or temporary housing until she stabilized. Girl, anything is better than the state she is in now

It's surprising how many BL's there are with a similar plot, if you can call that a plot, since it's pretty meh. Honestly, I'm tired of seeing Semes being manipulative, scumbags, toxic, etc. And ML seems very manipulative, he just wants to have sex with poor uke who seems genuinely innocent Is it too much to ask for a BL with seme and uke being in consensus, communication and affection for each other? Anyway, I'm just reading it for the art and because of uke, who is cute by the way.
