He associated his erection to an incestuous affection towards his father because he did not know that an erection was a natural biological response to sex, be a participant or an observer, the association was affirmed by The Bitch. He never intended the affection to be incestuous and that wrong association lead to his guilt and mysophobia. I think it is wrong to easily assume that Shirotani "loves" his father.
