I really feel sorry for loki and Harald, he just wanted his people to live freely but was deceived and used and then had to force loki to kill him. The whole thing is so tragic.
My theory as to why the whole story was changed is either Loki himself didn't want anyone to hate his dad and told the elder to lie or the elder was also controlled by imu and changed the story
Till now I thought the demon was the og saimon(forgot the spelling) who defeated MC in his first life and that he was pretending to be the og mc to ruin his reputation but now I'm not sure who is who. Maybe his resentment created this demon or something?
I think it's still him and the bad energy took over his body at the last pannel his hair went from black to blond in this chain is hanging someone I bet that is his real body saimon or something like that

What does him going crazy after her death do for her? She was tortured to death countless times, murdered countless time and even BURNED to death once and not once was there anyone there with her. Her dad might have loved her but he was never there for her not even once( at least according to the chapters we've seen till now) He needs to grovel for forgiveness from her and needs to go through even more pain just like her. I also hope that he sees all her past deaths and bear all the guilt of abandoning her for all the 9 lives.
Do people feel sorry for him cuz he's supposedly handsome? Plz he deserves so much more pain(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
I understand why he did that tho. He thinks that if he gets too close to her, she'll get hurt like what happened to Beatrice or he'll cause trouble for her. Personally I really like his character but it's just my opinion.
I do understand that he stayed away for protecting her but at the same time he should have at least made sure he got news of her well being somehow cuz that poor girl has been tortured and killed so many times. If he had at least gotten some news about what was happening to her he might have been able to save her in any one of lives. But of course then we wouldn't have had a story so it makes sense. Anyhow in my opinion he needs to work extra hard to get his daughter's approval and trust this time
He might've not gotten news about her life tho. He wasn't even near her in her past life cause she was living under Aquila or something like that so how could he have known about her? It said that Aquila framed her for dark magic so it isn't impossible that she might've lied about how Asha was doing. I'm just saying it isn't completely his fault, he did what he thought was right
I understand his thinking why he 'thought' not being by his daughter's side makes her feel more safe but hey, at least he finally understands what the princess felt (not completely tho but he is trying) and learned his lessons. Now he is atoning/correcting his mistakes by becoming a better father and chase after her.
I agree that he needs to see all nine lives of her Being tortured and dying because he deserve to suffer through all the guilt and he needs to ask for forgiveness for the rest of his life. from what I understood he was trying to flee the kingdom with Beatrice and her right after she was born but but couldn’t so he should’ve done it when he found her or something. The i’m staying awake to protect you statement only applies to parents who already are horrible parents to their children such as abusers and neglectful parents. Which if he truly love her he wouldn’t be one of those however it is a selfish way to protect himself from having to face the consequences. Because in reality he was going to dump her at the palace and make her go through another torturous life if she did not coming to him like she did. Truthfully I like his character just because he is a vital part of the story but it doesn’t mean that he doesn’t pissed me off.
