My heart weeps for eckles.. his life was so sad.. watching your family die while trying to save you, becoming a slave, being manipulated, betrayed, etc. he had his faults but he was so young and didn't know any better.. eckles kind of reminds me of og penelope.. he just wanted love and didn't know what was wrong or right.. i wish penelope was better to him from the start, or more genuine at least since she knew he is just a kid.. he worked so hard.. rip.. :(

Pretty much the same thing I was feeling. He was done so wrong. He was just as desperate as she was, probably even more so since he had the status of slave. Hopefully he pops up in the side stories. I want to see him have a happier ending also.

Honestly since the first chapter I already kinda knew where it was going but then chapter 6 showed up and BANG! my eyes have been cursed. It’s not actually as bad compared to other mangas that have r*pe in it. The art is so good, and I am glad that the author made the fl actually act closer to being scared and desperate to get out of the situation than “enjoy” getting r*ped like some other mangas.
In my opinion, I think that this was what the author was going for and not “romanticizing r*pe” because I have read a lot where the fl would fall in love after being harassed a few times. I really hope the fl would go to the police or alert someone, or at least I hope the ml will learn how horrible of a man he is and change (I don’t think it will happen but I will only hope).
Overall, this manga makes me quite curious on what happens next (maybe it’s because of the art I’m not sure myself), so I want to know if there will be any new character introduced or character development. If after ~15 chapters, and the ml continues to harass the fl like this or worse, I will drop it, but for now I will just enjoy the art and read NOT FOR THE ROMANCE, but just curiosity.
p.s. I have read chapter 6 a while ago, but because of my curiosity of what happens next, I came back. I won’t reread it tho since I know I won’t really enjoy it.

This was so painful to read. My heart hurt so much for the female lead and my eyes were tearing up so much I couldn’t even see the screen properly. I really hope they can communicate and resolve the misunderstandings, but I know it won’t come overnight. Ugh I am feeling so frustrated and sad right now ┗( T﹏T )┛
