derrick is annoying as of rn but (you asked for spoilers which is why i'm telling you) derrick is a creep. He's been sexually obsessed/attracted to Penelope since the beginning. She thinks that he doesn't like her calling him "oppa" bc he loved Yvonne but its actually not bc of that. He makes her call him "young master" bc of his obsession/attraction to her. His lust for her starts to manifest itself as hate. He still lusts for her but he displays it through hate. It's very gross and just yuck.
You didn't specify what type of spoilers you wanted so i'll just say w/e.
Yvonne is actually the villain of this story. Penelope finds out that after she finished normal mode, Yvonne released Lelia (who was trapped in the mirror of truth) and killed everyone. Vinter cast a spell to reverse the hands of time to bring penelope back. He knew that Penelope was the only one who could stop her. The spell is actually a forbidden one and the cost is his soul (my poor bb). The spell made it so that every time Penelope died, time would go back to before and the cycle would continue until Yvonne was finally defeated. Notice how when our reincarnated Penelope was playing hard mode, she kept dying but it would reset. Time was reset so many times that og Penelope's soul was destroyed and that led to our fl getting isekai'd.
Penelope is keeping her distance from Vinter bc in normal mode, he was the one who brought Yvonne...but this time it will be Eclise who brings her. He becomes obsessed with Penelope and wants her all to himself so he looks for Yvonne so that Penelope will be kicked out of the Eckart house. At the end of the story he loses his memories but he has this gut feeling that he loved Penelope so he stalks her for three years, protecting her whilst in the shadows. Eventually she talks to him and tells him that he didn't love her (she doesn't want him to be hung up on her) but he doesn't believe her. she also tells him to head [*insert direction that i forgot*] bc he'll find answers there (it was the direction toward his original empire).
This is a misconception abt Yvonne and "the curse". Some ppl are saying that the Eckart's abused Penelope bc of yvonne's curse but that isn't true. yvonne didn't do anything to them until after eclise brought her. Everything that happened beforehand was ALL THEM. Even after she came all she did was warp their perceptions of Penelope. This curse also didn't work that well on some characters bc Penelope had already formed strong bonds with them so she couldn't warp their perceptions of her that well.

He was one of the first one to turn his back at her when the original fl came and he never recognized her as his sister because he liked her an other ways but he wanted to totally possessed her like a bird in a cage Not like a human being

Yeah Derrick sucks and he doesn't really change from beginning to end. Vinter supremacy!! i love my bb sm. and yes ofc i got u!! (i'm gonna be skipping around and being brief so it's just the cute stuff)
I'll start with where we left off with the most recent chapter. He (callisto) goes up to penelope and teases her a lot (this is a recurring theme with him). He says that hes been excited to hear her answer to his question and he says they'll be married in the future. She's v "woifjawijfaio" (<<best way i could describe her emotions) and doesn't know what to say. Derrick interrupts them and Penelope is happy bc she's been saved but she's wrong. Callisto jokes about Penelope deceiving him and P knows he's teasing but Derrick turns on her instantly. There is this bird transformer thing that attacks and Derrick leaves Penelope to defend some nobles and Callisto teases Penelope saying that he would never leave her side if he was Derrick (irony in that statement bc he leaves her side and she nearly got killed but Vinter told her to turn around...P saves the day and defeats all of them and saves everyone).
P is debating who to give the third amulet to and C comes up from behind her and steals it and claims it for himself.
P gets lost and gets attacked by a bear and she fights it but runs out of bullets. C was passing by and cuts off the bears head saving P. He tries to give her the head to claim as her own but she doesn't want it bc there's blood still dripping from the neck. He notices and begins to shake the head so blood gets on her. She starts squealing/screaming and hides behind a tree. He laughs at her and says it's funny to see the eckart mad dog act like this.
Some assassins (20 of them) attack P & C and P uses her her bow to shoot them and C covers P whenever she's about to get shot (thus taking the hits himself). The last assassin lunges at P with a dagger and she shoots him but she's abt get stabbed bc of the momentum so C covers her and he gets stabbed. They're on the edge of a cliff so they end up falling.
P wakes up and sees C is half naked & she realizes that she's also half naked (he took off their clothes bc they fell in a river) but he covered her with his cape. she goes to sleep but then wakes up bc of a nightmare abt that bear. She tries to go back to sleep but its too cold and she begins to shake. C sees this, gets up, and begins to cuddle her to give her some warmth. (awe)
The dagger that stabbed C was poisoned but he hid it from P (another theme with C). He collapses and doesn't wake up. P is arrested for attacking nobles (yep they were the assassins) and attempting to murder C (utter lies). While testifying in court she lies and says her and C are lovers (no one would believe they ran into each other in the forest by accident). Vinter backs up her statements (stan vinter).
I'll break this up into seperate things bc i don't want this to get cut bc of how long it is.

(continued) P visits C and he still hasn't woken up. She doesn't know what to say to him and just says "don't die" and at that moment he wakes up (this happens a lot where he's unconscious and she just says something and he instantly wakes up). He laughs at her choice of words and he asks her what she wants in exchange for saving his life. She asks him not to kill her once he finds out "some information" (referencing her testimony in court which she didn't tell him abt) and he instantly asks "what..did you say something weird in court?" (instincts on fire lmao) and she denies. He agrees but laughts at her and says she's weird.
V dedicates his hunt to her (he placed third) and C dedicates his hunt to her as well (he placed second) and P placed first due to that bear. She's then crowned queen of the hunt.
C ends up going to the Eckart house bc P keeps ignoring his invites to the palace. It's so funny bc he calls daddy eckart (yes that's what i call P's father) "father-in-law"!! Daddy Eckart is thrown off by this but C ends up going in the house and demands to see P. (C is such a tease)
(flash forward to like the end of the story) C helps P fight Yvonne. He fought the dragon whilst she fought Yvonne. He hides his injury and then collapses. He tells her to go back to her world while he's still able to control himself (as in not tell her to stay). She's distraught and doesn't know what to do. She ends up deciding to stay in the game world (she also says that she wants her family in the real world to live the rest of their lives in regret bc they treated her horribly until she fell into a vegetable like state. btw her real body has stomach cancer and is in a coma. it's implied that bc she stayed, her real body will die.). She stays by his side and then she says something and then he just wakes up. He asks if this is a dream and if it is, he doesn't want to wake up (he thought she'd leave). It's this really cute scene where he pulls her onto the bed, hugs her, and caresses her face (bc he's scared she's not real).
C wants to get married but P isn't ready bc she has commitment issues. He agrees to wait for her but he's still seeing her during that time. At one point he tries to stop being the emperor bc all he wants is to be with her but she's not with him. She doesn't let him (good on her). They get married after 5 years (GIRL MADE HIM WAIT 5 YEARS PLS) and she's preggo.
(those are spoilers on C with a hint of V. now I'll spoil some Reynold cute scenes.)
After the trial P moves into the palace bc she doesn't want to stay near the Eckart's (bc Derrick didn't trust her and Reynold & daddy eckart didn't visit her in prison). R calls after her to ask if what she said was true (abt her and C being lovers) bc he knows it's not. She says it's true but then he changes the topic. He says that he knew she was innocent and so did daddy eckart. They couldn't visit her in prison which is why they sent D. Then he says (and i quote) "I'm not Derrick!" He means that he wouldn't just distrust her instantly and he knows her better than that. (the way he just threw D under the bus AND drags him lmfao) He brings up small details abt her behavior (prior to the hunting competition and on the way there) that no one else noticed to show how he knew she was innocent. She is moved by his words and feels better. He then asks the question abt C again and then she tells him the truth this time. When she tells him that she lied, he was like 'I knew it." It was a super cute scene.
After the hunt she stays in her room (bc she's still upset abt what D did). He goes into her room and asks why she's upset. He explains that they couldn't dedicate their hunts to P bc you're not allowed to dedicate it to family. He tells her that he'll give her anything she wants as long as she cheers up. She tells him to free this bunny and he eagerly agrees. It's the cutest thing.
