kudos to Jaehyuk for not wanting to hide his relationship with Garam but a petty ultimatum is not it. it’s just a shitty desperate manipulative attempt to get what he wants in spite of Garam’s concerns. ick. Jaehyuk’s attitude towards this whole situation is just coming across really ignorant & privileged; he might face backlash for being in a same sex relationship & he’ll be alright, but the same could not be said the same for Garam.
Garam, whom suffered massively from being outed unjustly in high school and bullied for it, entered this relationship with Jaehyuk (who was initially straight & extremely homophobic) with a HUGE chip on his shoulder but still taking that leap believing it might turn out differently. However, Jaehyuk is rushing past so many lines without considering Garam’s comfort or opinion in the matter & this just feels so disappointing.
hopefully there’s some eventual understanding on both accounts & a real honest conversation that leads to a resolution.
