at first i thought the concept was ridiculous and just wanted to check it out but lowkey i like this! tho i'd still hate to have my ancestors watching me so closely lmfao. idk what the ml's situation is but i would want to be him! and it really can't be that bad being him? but even if it is i still prefer his constitution!!
Sigh. I'm actually pretty annoyed by this bcs the fl is ignoring many things that are important for a playwright, one that is especially form the modern world and is in this time period. She has a disposed prince in her troupe playing in stories that have some themes relating to his life. Not only could she lose her life but she is also playing with the lives of everyone involved. A usurper is a paranoid person to their core bcs they could be overthrown at any moment. There are bound to be factions that are still unsatisfied with how things turned out. And since there's always the chance of the disposed royal coming back to bite them, they must be aware of everything at all times. Not only the nobles but they must also keep the public/commoners under watch. There is no way this will go unnoticed by the king. It simply can't. It will reach him eventually. And since she was a director her past life and since she is from the modern times she should in theory know this. She should've studied this. She should be aware of how Shakespeare absolutely avoided inserting political viewpoints in his plays. How other playwrights were executed or assassinated by rulers. How the exact time and place she was placed in is probably the most dangerous time for a playwright. The court should be still vigilant and alert for any signs of the disposed prince or for rebellions. Why are we not seeing her constantly worry about this? Or at least when she's choosing the actors or writing the scripts? Another thing. It's pretty interesting to me how modern korean characters always adapt to slave/master systems so easily. There's no moral dilemma no awareness no concern. They have simply become white and they just accept it so easily. Lastly, I would just genuinely hate working under her. Not only is she dumb asfk for not considering everything I mentioned above she is simply too overbearing. But whatever ig. She is just too passionate yet unconcerned about her realities! Also I just don't like the amount of emphasis she places upon casting pretty actors. yeah yeah she's just too annoying actually. But (actual spoilers) I am glad that the prince is not the male lead!! Finally something different!
biggest gripe is that fucking ai omfg. here comes the author talking about opening up and understanding feelings and building connections with others--then we see her taking lessons from ai??? that isn't even consistent and doesn't work for these types of situations too?? like where is the logic in that?? how does this reflect on your work and your main character?? couldn't you have just made her develop her relationships with humans more??? as her romance develops why couldn't we also see her with a friend like im so irritated bro. i try to ignore it and pretend it's just the author talking to her but it seems so out of place and like an advertisement (which it probably is let's be honest). story would've been so much better and i would've loved it if that #thing was never there.
the duke is clearly suicidal and when one is like that they cease to care about the future and long term goals and the little things around them. their relationship will develop and (im guessing) he will regain the will to live(hopefully)! and i'm also getting annoyed by the prince but i think it's probably a reason for why he's being downplayed as there's too many foreshadowing going on! and i could never drop this bcs i really do like the fl and the ml and i really really wanna see them in love !!
ngl the fl is very wrong for always sticking so close to that guy and comforting him whenever he had issues with his girlfriends. she's always been waiting for him to finally notice her and that only happens when he's fighting his girl. and that is so messed up on her part omg. anyways fuck that ta. idk if she's the stalker it's looking like she is but i really hope she doesn't do anything to the ml or fl. she might tho. also please i need the fl to quickly develop!! ml too! please you guys let's communicate and let's be open!! tho her crush is probably still not completely gone #sigh

i love them but they need to speak!!!! more talking less fucking and if required (it is) they need to stand so far away from each other and just shout what they both been wanting to say bcs i am sooo tired of things being seemingly solved with no communication? and i doubt they are being solved bcs the same issues keep coming up. atp im rooting for the chairman just so i can see them speak and actually the ml kinda getting to me !! like im sorry but you really have changed completely from your middle school self. you gotta stop “blaming” her for not recognizing you and for your crush omgg?? and i know he’s not really that mad about it but there is something there and he just needs to tell her urghhh but still i continue to move for them!!
and though the plot seemed to have unfolded so quickly im enjoying myself and i love them! ig im pretty easy to impress? but anyways theres still side plots and big questions to wrap up so i’ll be here!
oh i thought this had like 100 chapters or something bcs it reminded me of the ones that were released in 2022 but you mean to tell me theres only 27 chapters? good god im about to suffer!
