Good news is that the previous chapter that was missing is also uploaded! Don't miss that one because a big thing happens in there. A half-assed confession from Yashiro... But it's good though for now. It's definitely a progress.
I had predicted long long time ago that the only way Domeki would get Yashiro is to dominate him. It was the only way to get through that thick skull. We'll see how long that dynamic lasts.
It was evident from the beginning of the story that Yashiro is actually a victim himself, rather than the perpetrator. He needed a strong character to get him to trust and come out of his shell. Someone he would respect. Domeki is physically strong but obviously what made Yashiro fall for him was his character strength and his values. The rest (the big muscles) are just a bonus. Let's see how long this relationship lasts. I have a feeling things are only going to get complicated in their dark world. They've both made enough enemies to keep the story interesting.
Okay, we didn't want an easy HEA, did we? (Yes yes, we did, but whatever) I still think Wren is okay. He's been through a lot but he might survive... It might also give him a chance to redeem himself by sacrificing himself for Tristan's sake in a very critical moment that would probably come. This author is particularly good at creating multi dimensional characters so we'll see. Obviously Wren cared about Tristan at some point in his life. Not all is lost! Plot just got exciting!!

Okay, we didn't want an easy happily ever after, did we? (Yes yes, we did, but whatever) I still think Wren is okay. He's been through a lot but he might survive... It might also give him a chance to salvage himself by sacrificing himself for Tristan's sake in a very critical moment that would matter. This author is particularly good at creating multi dimensional characters so we'll see. Obviously Wren cared about Tristan at some point in his life. Not all is lost! Plot just got exciting!!
I don't know .. none of these scenes feel sexy to me. They're actually rather distressing. There's a serious case of Stockholm syndrome going on here. It's like incessant scenes of rape or dubious consent, and then suddenly the MC is like: yeah fine it to me, and the other MC calls him vulgar endearment. It doesn't make sense and I see no kind of romance in this. I'm just following to see what happens in the end. But it feels yucky.
