I stopped reading this for a while and I want spoilers so what did the doc lie about?
Umm well depends how you see it. Since they weren’t nothing official when the doctor was messing with him at his office he was still hooking up with his fuck buddy (red hair dude). But now that he got serious he did end things with him. But now there’s been 2 misunderstandings. 1) the guy who attacked the uke mentioned that the doctor got with the attackers lover. So uke was already feeling weird b/c they were watching a movie were someone cheated, but the doctor said there’s many factors to it. Which made the uke feel weird cuz he didn’t mention someone tried to hit on him but after that he questioned if the doctor would have even cared if he mentioned it. Plus he didn’t want to tell him who attacked him b/c he thought it would hurt/damage the doctor’s reputation if they went to the police. 2) uke went the club with the teacher where the doctors friends hang out. There red hair dude says he’s gonna meet with the doctor. Which obviously the uke heard, which he’s probably gonna misunderstand since the doctor told him he couldn’t meet today b/c he was busy.
So clearly doctor was a player before meeting the uke. He would never get serious or anything, but obviously things are different now. But his history is already causing a bunch of misunderstandings with 1) red hair dude & 2) the attacker.
