I read the whole 1st season long time ago, now I have come back and I have read the recent new chapter. What is the reason to continue this broken and toxic relationship. Why force them together. Yea, I havent read 2nd and 3rd season. But it seems to me that valley between them is wider then before(1st season). This relation cant be mended.
Siyeon (i think this is her name) still makes stupid decisions. She is most useless charecter in this manhwa. She has no character development. If you take her out of this story the plot would be still same. She has accomplished nothing good till ch. 28.
Gwihyeon has not change, he has been always a dick, he has just masked it very well. So this means he also doesnt have character development.
Eunhye, the bitch, is ungrateful spoiled brat and has been spoiled by two families. Now she has ditched her Hanam parents to spend her time with her Ichon family and Gihweon. Still same character, no development.
Ijun is the only character with a little bit of character development. His goal is a little bit diffrent from the previous life. So far the best character in manhwa, but mistreated by the author.
Yunsu, no comment. We still dont know his place in this manhwa.
If author wants to write a good story she/he (idk the sex of the author) should start with good lead characters. Siyeon, the FL, is not likeable at all. You want to sympathise with her, but is not possible. Her decision making is influence by past and bad people around her, but she is blind and oblivios to it. If she really wanted do something good for her parents and for herself, she should pull her head out of her butt. So far it seems that the author forgot about the returning to past, because the whole point of the returning is to fix her mistakes and decisions, but in the she still makes the same decisions.
So far the the plot is still same as the past. But now she is 25 years old, she should finally do something to make the plot move. But imho she should have come clean to Ijun as soon as she had a chance. He would have smoothed things out with his grandfather. Hanam parents still would had a job a factory. -> plot would be moving, characters would be developing. Because of this major change all characters would have to change, adapt to a new situation, developing.
Making the plot move after 28 chapters or probably more chapters later is too late. The author showed us her past and then return her to past. So from that point the plot should have move, but no, the situation and decisions are still same.
she makes questionable choices. the ml is actually a character i genuinely like too. It's the FL that makes choices where im like "how the fuck did that help you?" An example, her breaking up w ijun. Like she already planned on not marrying the ml's brother and get revenge on all of them but instead she's doing like barely anything? Also the time skip is a little fucking annoying are you fucking telling me she didn't make any fucking progress within 5 years? She does say what she did but it felt like nothing. I just want her to be happy but she's making it hard on herself to make herself happy like wtf girl.
Also that one guy in the recent chapter who was driving the FL somewhere, what is he there for like i don't understand. the only thing she got out of him was info about the gal she wants to get revenge on but?? ok that's it
Ok, firstly I respect your opinion, I am not saying that my opinion is the best.
5 year time skip and description in a few senteces what happened in 5 years is really bad for story telling, almost lazy writting. It could have been avoided. And tells nothing about her current situation.
We knew, she knew that Ijun like her and 100% help her. This should be her first step to happy ending. Maybe in Siyeon perspective is an option, but we are readers and we want a good story. If she end up with Ijun instead breaking up with him, we would get character and story development instead of frustrating decision of FL. From that point revenge path story could begin. She wouldnt be alone.
Yunsu, imo, is character that should help Hanam parents.
If think about it, there is still no revenge path story. Only thrown potential imho.
Oh MY GOD, at this point I’ve 100% given up on the FL. At first I liked her passive nature because it was different and it looks like she’s planning for the future. But nope. The minute the brother came back from the military and she didn’t tell ijiun as she should’ve since she was in a transparent and healthy relationship. Her character turned for the worse. She turned into a cowardly protagonist who can’t even be honest to the one person who blindly stayed by her side both life times. Now if she goes back to ijiun it’s gunna look like she’s using him. No matter how she explains it or not.
Literally every panel was a moment she could’ve come clean. Especially before the stupid time skip. Everything she said while breaking up with him was uncalled and annoying like wtf you mean “this is so uncomfortable, I can barely breathe”????? STFU AND TELL THE TRUTH U PATHALOGIC LIAR. AND THAT TIMESKIP?? 5 YEARS?? AND THEN ANOTHER 2 WEEKS?? Yk I’ll be honest, I was happen a timeskip happened because, It just means the end is near for this dumpster fire of a romance.
It’s just bad writing for the characters, the romance, and story in general. Maybe the only interesting thing the author had in mind was the breakup because it was just so out of place in the story. It was unnecessary. The point of issue could’ve been literally anything else like “making the grandpa realize the brother is evil”??? If she just had more trust in ijiun’s abilities the story so much different. Anyways I rambled and none of this matters. I want ijiun to find power and reject the main character and get his revenge because apparently the FL doesn’t know how to exact revenge herself.
I dont think I can wait 5 years seeing this bitch get spoiled by both parents. I pity FL, but she should come clean to Ijun, not the part traveling back in time, only about being switch with that bitch. He would deffinitly connect dots seeing that FL is resembling her real parent (hanam parents), and the bitch is resemling Ichon parents. And this new guy (forgot the name) imo he is friend with the bitch for bussiness sake of his parents. Gwihyeon is getting more ambitious, still I can't figure out who will he end up with, but it's probably with the bitch for bussiness sake too. And Hanam parents idk if they know about their real daughter or are in dark (I came back to thi manhwa after break so I do'nt remember), but if the FL approaches them and come clean, they would forsake the bitch and spoil our FL, and then she can be happy.
Sorry guys for forgotting names of charecters, but it's hard for me to remember. I used to read mangas (japanese) and then manhwas. For me japanese names are easier to remember then koreans.
Season 1 ends with chapter 43.
I think he's going to marry the spoiled girl, bec he's after being accepted by his family members and ppl from their business (they think Ijun is better suited for being the heir of the business) even if he lost the 1% he has better voice in their company if he marry the "real" daughter. Im just waiting for the grandfather to know everything bec i think he, like Ijun, think of Siyeon like family
They have spent over 100 chapters to finally admit their feelings. Now in few chapters they are trying to lessen burden that Duroa is feeling. This manhwa started promising now it's really boring. FL who can't express properly, can't comb her hair, walking with bedhead everywhere should be emberesing for a noble. And ML who is running away from his true feelings. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

I like this manhwa.
It accurately depict higher society and lower society. Nobles verse their words with hidden context that uneducated ppl would not understand. On the other hand nobles don't understand lower class.
It doesn't bring modern BS romance stuff that other romance manhwas do. Gf, Bf and Ex- are terms, that don't belong to the era manhwa is set in. "Let's go on a date" is a sentence, noble would never say. Pls leave those terms in 21st century.
Plot is consistant. Characters are consistent at least for now. The author did a very good job and it's obvious he/she did some research (unlike others romance authors).
