im an adult and I still find it hard to say Hi

Sometime i go to the chat to say hi but i worry that it will interrupt their conversation so i just stare at it and get out of there

Maybe try to find servers on a smaller scale where they talk about something you all have a common interest in. I think it’ll definitely feel easier to join in the conversations

I want to join one too but english isn't my mother tongue so it takes me a while to think and write what I want to say so I always lose "my turn" in convos so I just give up at the end

There is a few times tho irl and online someone has a personality or aura that draws me in and makes me want to be friends or talk to them. It's happened maybe 3 or 4x in my life and I've only actually got close to two of them. They both turned out great

I talked to a girl who was new at school who I was drawned to (wanting to be her friend) without even talking to her and it turned out to be the great. The first day talking and we joked like we've been friends for 9 years

It’s fine if you lose interest, but I think it’s worth it, it may be a little slow at times and personally I don’t really like the minor romance part but it’s still a really good series imo
