Honestly, I feel bad about Miller. He doesn't seem to think normally but he hardly did anything to deserve all the torment that I read about in the last chapters.
Well... There's the Chase trauma Grayson caused along with some other really bad things he did thinking he was helping (like getting Chase run over by a car)... But I think we could have settled by just putting Grayson in a room full of mosquitos or something of the sort
I read nearly halfway through the 2nd book (there are 3 in total) and i will never finish it.
First, the ml is genocidal ( he kills yokais, hunting them, men, women, the elderly, kids! Torturing all of them just cause he thinks that its fun) and it's far worse than being a rapist. Psycho on another level.
I see some comments saying "I've seen worse mls" and I agree if u are looking just how he treats the mc (Its not good), but I kept questioning this author's choice for ml, he could just hate yokais, being genocidal its too much for me, I ended hating even the mc (that I found cute before) cause the blind devotion for that trash who kills his people.
maybe they are changing the plot for the manwha...apparently they changed it for blood moon, too...bc everyone said that mc get r*ped and abused by ml in the novel...but it didnt happen in the manwha

I really think that this chapter could be better, with him discovering that yes he can be with other people and after a good time and development between the mc and ml, they could be together and happy ending. Just me delulu trying put one end in the whole dependence thing.
He isnt perfect ok, but honest all the options that he give to mc about the pregnancy was pretty ok to me. The chance to marry and give one "complete" familiar base is good too. But of course the drug dealer is better (aleast he treat the mc decently)
Honestly, I don't like that the author chose to make him unsuccessful in his career, especially since he is supposed to be this genius they are trying to make him seem. Appearance is limiting for every role, and you don't need to be conventionally beautiful to become a famous actor.
