The one that I read which was the most saddest to me was Blue Flag. Its not necessarily a BL per se (focuses on heterosexual couples) but it's really good if you want your heart to throb with sympathy for one of the LGBTQ characters! It is more bittersweet than sad but I have read a lot of LGBTQ +with 'sad' themes. None have made me more emotional ......
