If it was a hormone related drug then all it did was force her monthly to kick in! Since the animal women in the story only breed once a year or so then they would have certainly thought that she was pregnant when the drugs affects kicked in.

I would pick Curtis too. Parker is young and immature, he behaves like a child half the time. I can totally understand why she would think of him as a little brother rather then a potential mate. That and Curtis is really cute and is much better at protecting her.
But the female lead is sixteen.
Has she ever acted like a sixteen year old? She’s young sure, but she’s handled things pretty well considering everything. Parker is older then her, but acts far younger.

I used to enjoy this story and now I’m just annoyed by it.. the chapters are way too short, there isn’t enough of a story line for you to figure out what’s going on and not the latest development in the store makes me really angry and frustrated.
Just stop already! Either say what you mean and let us in on what’s going on or end the darn story, because I really can’t go another 10 “ chapters “ with what ever joke your trying to play.
