It might be too early to say, but I think during the hiatus the author reflected on fans' comments on how the main pairing (tho will it still be the main pairing from now on...? o.O) was toxic and Yawhi was abusive. Same with comments on how MC was plain and boring, I think there we will see character development...

I am really surprised also because before the hiatus, I sensed that the author had a bias against developing Cain as a love interest, but it doesn't seem to be the case now? V interesting...

Also I think the new art style looks great! (=・ω・=)
