it's pissing me off that he's the first one to remember everything
I'm rereading cz I forgot a lot of things but how is he so dumb and dense and rash in the present time when he was so smart and careful and genuinely had a line of thought in the past or at least until he was a law student ffs?
I think he changed after his friend used him and his grandma died, he's desperate for revenge and doesn't have any goal outside of that and nothing to live for
I guess this is what the second season will be about bc so far taeseo haven't really acknowledged yeomin's personhood beyond his personal fucktoy/dog waiting at home (eg: he doesn't listen to his rambling, he oversteps and not tell yeomin he's been doing A B C and D even when it's for yeomin, like he generally thinks he knows better and never lets yeomin thinks or acts for himself) but we see this slipping through the crack bc yeomin's character is actually so well written like he has this inherent politeness that makes him try to think around but still tries to draw his boundaries (albeit doesn't always result in success), he thinks things through and doesn't just go take the lower hanging fruit (ahem like a lot of rags to riches MC)
but slightly reading the spoilers from others, maybe the ending of this season would be yeomin somehow escaping/cutting contact with taeseo, cz it's been hinted how much he hates yeomin leaving (besides his jealousy, maybe we'll see him having some trauma around being abandoned + his dad keeps remarrying = his birth mom isn't in his life anymore?) but yeah I haven't thought of anything else that could bridge this season to the next but I hope (I think it's obvious as well) that we'll see more character progression from taeseo after the awful « holding hostage » arc (I hope he doesn't get violent but oh well
He actually grabbed and drag taesoo to his room threatened him to break his other ankle and that attending school wasnt important cuz he gonna make sure yeomin graduates anyway. But yeomin still protested so taesoo got mad and threw yeomin's untouched food.. im so scared if he gonna force yeomin in bed or even physically abuse him. Yeomin's safe space became his nightmare
