The next day they both have day off I assume so they somewhat plan for that day to celebrate their anniversary, and this one Hyunsoo know about or don't, who know at this point ahahahaha

Totally agree with you. But as someone who's in a relationship currently i dont think it matters whether it's the night before or the night of the anniversary. Youngchan deserves better. He just wants to welcome the day of their anniversary with a sweet gesture, it's not his fault Youngchan forgot or he has something heavy on his mind going on and he's not opening up again. He's been with him for some time, he knows he's romantic. Youngchan knows he's not that's why he blames himself again.
I don't it's something to be really harsh on Hyunsoo about.. He is neither used to it nor does he think like Youngchan. He didn't even know Youngchan had prepared something. But Hyunsoo's worried over him and is considerate of his feelings. Yes, it's a basic thing but I think it's enough. They properly celebrated their anniversary so it's all good.
As someone in a relationship, I'd feel the same as Youngchan tbh. It might be the night before the anniversary, but there's still the desire to celebrate it as long as you can. Yup! I understand it wasn’t the actual anniversary but Hyunsoo forgot the date of the anniversary itself. So the least he could do is what Youngchan did, maybe show effort before the anniversary. It’s their first and he knows his boyfriend is really excited about this. He knew this, which is why he said he would’ve attempted to go home earlier had he known. Which means he absolutely could’ve gone home earlier if he tried but he decided to prioritize work, again. And while worrying is a sign of care, it’s the bare minimum. A mom would also worry if her child left the whole night. Hyunsoo needs to step up his game in his own romance because romantically, Youngchan is doing 95% of the work right now.

Agree with this tbh. Youngchan's still the one doing most of the work in the relationship, like how they were before. Which is kinda annoying haha. Personally, the thought of "I would have done x if only I knew y" is kinda annoying cause.. of course you would say that to make the other person feel better, but will you really do it? Who knows.
