I have been searching for months for a manga I read eons ago and desperately need your help!
Here’s what I remember:
- ML starts a fling with MC but says “I won’t fall in love with you”
- of course, MC thinks they are in love anyway, but every time he asks the ML to validate the relationship, the ML lashes out by saying mean shit
- it is later revealed that the ML was in love with another guy as kids, and tells him he will wait for him
- waiting forever made him cold and resentful
- ML eventually realizes too late that he does love the MC … something like “I just couldn’t leave you alone.”
- the ML’s first love was never ready to come out of the closet to be with ML
- reencounter of some kind

Wowowow! I’ve been searching for this manga forever because it gives the best angst to me! So glad I found it again! Anybody got any recs for more like this? Something about that secret love triangle reveal, just really scratches the right itch.
