I'm pretty sure everything works the same if you're missing a kidney. You just have higher risk of certain things cause you only got one kidney instead of two.

Tbh i really suggest you guys to read the novel too because in the novel they explained MORE details and specific about Hilise and etc. But um the sad news is the translation got dropped because the original author ask them to stop translating. But you should give it a try, really worth it

i guess you could check out Guardians of the Lamb. not yakuza, but dark with an interesting plot and sprinkled romance. the female lead is mysterious but not the preppy dumb type.
