“Even if I had tried to take my wife, what would be the problem with that” (chap 7-8). ???? Is this guy saying it’s ok for a man to rape his wife?? The MC was in clearly bad condition with ripped clothes so it was only natural for her guard to get so angry on her behalf… I can’t believe this guy is saying that it would’ve been alright even if he DID try to force himself on her and he previously said the MC was smart for a noble lady too… which has some seriously sexist implications for what he thinks about women. I understand the setting of this story is historical but that doesn’t mean I want to see a misogynistic ML in the big 2026.
Right. LIKE JUST BECAUSE IT'S HISTORICAL (Author you literally fucking wrote this and this country doesn't fucking exist Historical fucking WHERE you not having foresight person) DOES NOT MEAN THERE WEREN'T PEOPLE (A GOOD CHUNK ACTUALLY) WHO STILL HELD NEGATIVE VIEWS TOWARDS MARITAL RAPE. Like. It's SOOOO FUCKING COMPLEX BUT HOLY SHIT.
That was the artists choice the novel said this:
"That's enough, Sir Rosivalt. Even if touch my wife, what's the
problem? Who are you to interfere
with a husband and wife? Step back
while I'm being nice"
I don't see any rape whatsoever implied in the novel, i don't know why they made the choice to phase it like that.
no way these grown ass men beefing with a 5 yro... this is frying me so bad bro not to mention the dude with the eye mask straight up wishing death upon the kid... for an impression she must've made on him when she was ~3? how miserable do you have to be to be so hung up over a toddler's words im crying bro we have to get serious
