I’m sorry but it seems a little too dramatic to say he assaulted her? Her response to him getting that close to her was “it tickles” then she went on to stay close to him. He is keeping her close but we as readers don’t know why yet, it’s definitely something involving his dad, he probably wanted to hurt her in the past and he is still trying to protect her from him. Well that’s my theory but regardless if she didn’t want to be near him then why does she keep going back to that bunker, their relationship isn’t quite clear yet but to say it’s assault wouldn’t be accurate
keeping her away from his dad mightve been one of the reasons he's constantly pressuring her into staying in the bunker. however it is also very much obvious that he's motivated by other ambitions, he wants to keep fl to himself. also to put it simply, the reason why she keeps going back to him is because she feels attached to him. theyre each other’s first and only "friend" and actually get to be themselves when theyre together. but because their relationship is very messy rn she also feels uncomfortable around him which is why she leaves his side at times.
either way, regardless or their relationship, him getting close to her and attempting to kiss her was NOT consensual, she clearly did not give him the green light, hence why it’s assault. doesn't matter if, like you said, "her only response to him getting that close to her was “it tickles” then she went on to stay close to him", no response ≠ yes.

Their relationship as we can see if not just black and white, it’s very complex they’re both going thru different things and they still don’t have the mental maturity to communicate (common trope in manhwa unfortunately) , she does pull away from him but she always ends up going back, at this point he’s probably the only person who she can really connect with. Yes he pushed himself to be closer than she was expecting but it wasn’t something that created an immediate reasonable fear of violence in her. If anything it would be more accurate to say it was sexual harassment, but again I’m sure if she told him not to do that he would definitely stop. These are fictional characters but he’s not doing anything to hurt her, on the contrary it seems like he’s protecting her from everything (well at least from what we have seen so far)
Besides the fact that the writing went to complete dog water (art style carried the plot) I’m dropping this at chapter 36, it’s weird how grief works. My aunt passed away from trying to escape her boyfriend after an argument and in an intense moment of their fight he ended up hitting her and she hit her head on the pavement and instantly died. Weird how this story had that and the mc was fine, ik it’s fictional but people can really die from the simplest things .

Idc he’s the main lead he’s not a good person either. He saw that she miscarried and literally didn’t care, doesn’t matter if the mother is the worst human alive but the child is innocent. I cried so hard for her when it was revealed and somehow I showed more of a reaction than this dude now knowing that it was his child after all.
Hmm, somehow, he thought she was the culprit of his blindness, the start of his misery. And the supporter was looking forward for his downfall as well, so we wasn't expecting any good wishes from any of his enemies, not even those who were related to the main one.
I guess you can show the minimum humanity to the miscarriage of your enemy but in the end she was the reason the guy went through a period of blindness, not expecting to get an antidote or a solution for the rest of his life and living with anxiety.
I am not taking anybodys side, nor comparing. It is not possible. But the classical an eye for an eye is applied here. He doesn't feel remorseful after what he has gone through, and he doesn't expect any good intentions from his enemies.
