if you read the novel, you will kinda understand why some people ship chungmyung and baek chun (but for me it will always be tang bo and chungmyung lol)
baek chun is always caring and mindful about chungmyung's mood and emotional state (specially when he's being depressed about his old life, he always make an active effort to allow chungmyung to recover emotionally)
there's also this scene where baek chun feels "unsettled" about Lee Songbaek (the guy from SouthernEdgeSect), he's not too happy about chungmyung giving him special attention and coaching him regarding martial arts, he's annoyed that "out of many people, why him, who's from southern edge sect?" his feelings is probably like when you see your favorite teacher giving special attention to other student from different class, but some ppl just wanna ship them haha
