all this does is make me mad but the fact that im invested AND mad keeps me going. cuz I actually enjoy this. like they both suck I aint on either side which is a first and I like it, cuz that means they both are compelling but also shit which is crazy. usually there isnt a balance, its always oh 'poor poor top' or 'save the bottom' (moreso the latter). this one, both toxic.
and thats why they work. both were complacent that the first major issue they both checked out without fully airing out their grievances. and until I see them go at it like cats and dogs, imma try to be patient - might read the novel....
I love this arc it's so beautiful. the heart and conflict between duty and feelings. and showing how strength may mean most in the world of murim but it doesn't in the end mean everything. OH AND FR DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER
tho what I especially am a MAJOR fan of is the introduction of the loml Meng So....cuz that man is rising in ranks amongst my many many manwha wives. saw him, immediately fell. head over fucking heels AND HE DID NOT DISAPPOINT AHHHHH
hehe tho even if he did I am a very easy person who likes muscles and scars
this story is so charming, it dont take shit serious and everything is not what it looks like
except for Aaron, he is the devil through and through
