I'm sorta baffled, though not entirely surprised, by people's conclusions about the "cheating." The double standard is pretty wild. There are DEFINITELY non-consent/dubious consent sex scenes in here. However, I think the story did a good job handling that subject respectfully, while giving it the topic and its characters the space to meaningfully contribute to the story. The author and artists did a good job portaying mental illness and a VERY imperfect relationship, all the way to the end of the story when all gets resolved and they get their "happy ending".

Extra info: large age gap, never stated how large but I doubt bottom was younger than 25 when he first met top who was 11 at the time. Bottom absolutely refused to do anything sexual whatsoever with top while he was still a minor. Bottom did not raise him, and no grooming happened.
Content warning: a lot of self harm due to past trauma. More intense with top, but also happens with bottom.
