But although there are romantic notes, this is a story about the bonds the regressor makes. The novel story cares a lot about the relationships he makes with other characters and explores each deeply regardless of gender. I cried a lot at many points. At times I checked the tags for BL. But mainly rather than romance it’s about people who care about each other?
