Can I just comment on the father’s insistence on the sheriff using the correct titles? That was so cute! My mom does the same thing with my brother, whenever anyone refers to him as “Mr.” she can’t help but pipe in that it’s “Dr.” instead. It really shows how proud the father is of Chay and Keaton. So adorable!
Someone please explain what’s going on. I’m so lost, it’s like I’ve been stuck in a cornfield of death for days.
Remember that Hyesung kinda loves Dojin but doesn’t want to accept it. And since he agreed on money for having the baby, he was kind of taking advantage of Dojin. When he has the baby, he doesn’t want to look at it cause he’s remembered of the times Dojin “raped” him. Anyway, when Dojin goes to look for him in his room, he’s gone. Before that Hyesung, went to see the baby at least once when he heard Dojin and Heeso talking. He got upset and “disappeared”. Apparently what happened was since Heeso hates Hyesung, and wants to make him disappear cause he thinks he’s the source of all problems for Dojin, he has him locked up in his house, as to give the appearance that he’s “no where to be found”. Apparently he wants to get him a visa or something to get him out of the country. But since it takes time and money (which he doesn’t have), he still has Hyesung (who is under a lot of mental stress thanks to Heeso) in this room until he can get that done and get rid of him.
I was so close to tears when Youngmin was telling himself to hold it in. Fuck that bitch of a piece of shit cousin! Fuck that gossipy orange girl who ruined his reputation! Fuck those idiot classmates who are so quick to judge and assume things! Most of all, FUCK THAT SHITTY RAPIST UNTIL HE DIES OF A HORRIBLE TERRIBLE DISEASE, TORN APART BY WILD DOGS AND THEN REGURGITATED IN HELL WHERE HE WILL SUFFER TORMENT FOR ALL ETERNITY!
Am I the only one who doesn’t hate the MC? He’s selfish and admittedly short-sighted but I think that makes him a much more realistic character. Maybe it’s just that I’m a total asshole (which I really can’t refute) but if I had to choose imbetween my job (and come on, this dude doesn’t seem to be in the best financial position) or some person who was just an acquaintance at best (literally just met), I’d choose getting my job back. This flaw of selfishness also allows for character growth, where the MC will hopefully grow closer to the Artist Dude and eventually either choose the wellbeing and happiness of the other, or make the mistake but then see the error of his ways and try to at least make amends afterwards. For me, this just makes him seem more like an actual plausible person with ambitions and self-interest rather than some angelic being that can only exist on paper. Welp, sorry for the rambling.
I also think he seems like a genuinely nice person otherwise? I mean, he likes helping people, and it's not like he's intentionally doing this to be mean or anything. Honestly, if I had to choose, I would probably do the same thing too (although not with the same level of success cuz I'm definitely not a people person)
Is it really love tho, if afterwards you’re so willing to ruin their life? To me it’s just obsessive possessiveness coming from a fucked up selfish asshole who doesn’t understand that if you care for someone you actually want the best for them, even if it means a future without you. But who knows, that’s just me.
Haha, almost dropping babies happens more often then people would like to think. Both my parents adore my brother, but I still saw my dad almost drop him once. My mom has reflexes like a ninja though.
