Ch 114 is a flashback to the time that jay was actually in the army and he was under orders to take out a guy (can't remember what the mission was about, I think that's it) and we don't actually know what happened to shin but considering help got there on time he'll be fine! Fingers crossed (￣∇￣")

now guiding basically means physical contact with a person who is a guide that if they touch them then they heal from the aftermath of using too much powers. more contact, more guiding meaning sex.

So basically there's a bunch of ppl with special powers called espers. When they use their powers, they take on backlash. To "heal" the backlash, they need ppl called guides. Guides can heal espers through physical touch. Usually the more intimate the touch, the stronger the healing.
Tldr: guides heal espers through sex
