He literally met her once… she’s a noble lady, they don’t typically marry their knights… the so called ‘role’ red head played was ride or die since childhood.. Vlad wouldn’t be where he is now w/o her sacrifice.. well not as quickly anyway as it’s obvious he was born to be a knight. Although I don’t think this story will have much romance (if I’m remembering spoiler comments correctly) it’s wild to me how many comments dissing our red haired Waifu. Vlad will shine bright AF regardless of his partner. The IRL comparison of your comment is meeting a struggling guy, working random low wage jobs to put himself through med school, you there supporting and gassing him up and once he becomes a hot doctor all of a sudden your no longer worthy of him b/c your not super confident or classy.
Idk maybe I like rooting for the underdog, or maybe I think something as serious as picking your life partner should be based on how you feel about them and how they make you feel… ya know love, not transactional.
It's so late but I really agree with you at this. People ship MCs with new girls too early. I always think, but why, red girl was with him when he wasn't even a knight.
What about blue hair? Would she even like MC if he wasn't a STRONG knight? He's just useful to her, that's the reason she took interest in him.
And I don't think they would even be a good match. There would be power imbalance even if they're married since she'll use him as a knight.
