It's cause there's no development at all in the story. It feels repetitive and there's no suspense or conflict so everything feels kind of flat.
everyone commenting on the tatto placement but no one to talk about how a tatto artist doesn't have any tattoos...
ive binge read this so to me it seems she fought so hard to have people by her side and change things and then broke by the slightly pressure the villain did... she could have done so much more to avoid her biggest fear
