They could’ve easily either aged the uke up a little or the seme down a bit and it would make no difference. Regardless the story is so mediocre you could mentally pretend this age gap didn’t exist and it doesn’t impact the quality of the story. The smut tho, the art is yummy.

God I love how they introduced a bunch of mini plot points early on in the story that foreshadowed tropes/connections which to readers I found were very obvious to guess and anticipate BUT AHHHH I LOVE SEEING IT ACTUALLY HAPPEN.

I binged it just waiting for the reveal of the mothers childhood “friend” being the guard, I think I clocked it the moment he talked about being a coward as a child.
Idk if this webtoon has a novel BUT IM SO EXCITED FOR THE CROWN PRINCE TO BE REUNITED WITH THE DOCTOR, I thought they were going to use the torn book/fight part to be like ‘the prince is going out of his way to get an autographed copy and meets the author who turns out to be the love of his life that he can’t forget’ but they didn’t :( I’m also willing to bet that her jade ring is with the doctors brother and he’s going to come back and be the obvious set up love interest, I’m just waiting for all these loose ends to be tied.

God I loved that. ON GOD JIN IS SEXY. I love how the three of them are explicitly kind of peculiar / fucked up in what is like a very normal world (like does not like normalise the behaviour..?). The relationship is based on some really questionable dynamics and some of the stuff that happens feels fucked but becuase each character is set up to be individuals with really peculiar thoughts process and um..ways of accepting or showing affection that it feels like they actually deal with the hurdles in a way that works with their characters and dynamics. It’s not as obvious when reading week by week but on a binge the story telling and like panel story boarding is quite different, it’s kinda choppy/jumpy and they don’t delve into topics that you think they normally would (like I was fully expecting a couple ex flash backs) AND I REALY LIKED IT
Like even if I think the smut seems like a step back, they both still like genuinely want him to win and they both seemingly genuinely believe in the jinx still. The jinx still needs to go through
