If you just started reading and can't get into it: make the effort to push through, I promise it will be worth it!! I (and many others) had a bit of a hard time getting into the story at first but it really does get better the more you read

By the way, what a great story!!
-loved the limited color palette, the linework and the designs of the characters
-plot was genius!
Loved the way it ended. I can't think of a better way to end it. Bittersweet but not even that much, it was just such a smart way to end everything that I'm clapping my hands at the screen.
And great use of epilogue chapters! Amazing, it connected everything beautifully.

This is a story that once you finish reading it, it leaves you with so much to think about! 10/10

Since he was 25 at the start, and the princess is like 4,
Does that mean that...

I keep seeing side stories where the kid is older, where are theyyyyyyyy I can't find themmmm

Don't take it too seriously but let's think about the story and characters with an objective point of view, cause I think that if this was a "I got transmigrated in a side character from a novel" story then Bianca and her entourage would likely be the villains xD

-Bianca takes credit and merit for the sculptures and has her seamstresses work on lace, and reaps the majority of the benefits. I guess she pays them but still not comparable to her own profit (social profit and economic) Which is very realistic: that's how rich and privileged people operates. Unfortunately I can't sympathise with the privileged: eat the rich! Always

-a maid talks shit about her (come on, if your master behaved like pre-transmigration Bianca would you not talk shit about them? About someone who throws tantrums by literally throwing stuff and thrashing her room? Who gotta clean that up? And no, a lowly maid probably has more serious issues in her own life, there's a limit on how sympathetic one can be towards someone who's from a totally different social class) and she gets beaten up and chased out in the middle of winter. Ok

-The second prince: not his fault his mom assaulted the king.his siblings don't treat him like one of them. Not justifying his shitty current behaviour but what can you expect from being brought up like that?

-Yvonne is basically a class traitor. yeah they kinda become genuine friends the further it goes on but she witnesses a colleague getting beaten up and the First thing she does is kissing Bianca's ass and get close to her. Idk, I kinda see why her colleagues bullied her for a while

And mind you, I'm not saying I dislike the story! It's just a thought about how our view about some aspects is influenced depending on who is "telling the story" and we're automatically dismissing or overlooking certaint elements when it's convenient for us.

Btw I like that it's realistic on those aspects but I don't feel like the author did that on purpose xD

    Tbh odd take.

You have more sympathy for a princling that moves people like chess pieces in both timelines than the main character. Meanwhile your opinion on Bianca fully neglects the fact that she grew up without a mother, was fully abandoned by her father and brother at an age where she could not understand what marriage was, she was literally a child bride. The only person she had in that home died from the plague and left her all alone, and she was technically neglected by her husband in the first time line because he as an adult could not speak of his feelings. She quite literally had no one to raise her and was given items so she would shut up and behave in the first time line.

I'm not siding with either of them, I find them both kinda on the same level, except one gets a pass since it is the main character and the other does not, because it's the villain.

If the story makes us sympathise or side with a character just because they're the protagonist, then in my opinion it's not doing a good job. I felt this story had great potential but lost itself on the way and ended up relying on "roles" to keep the plot going, instead of character growth and evolution.

Didn't say you were siding with one over the other. What I did say is it's weird from your comment that you empathize more with the second Prince and not the MC when the prince is considerably worse than the MC and Bianca arguably had the worse childhood. tbh feels misogynistic.

I only briefly mentioned the second prince in my first comment, saying that while his behaviour is shitty, he had a shitty childhood: I wouldn't say that's a great show of empathy from my part. I had more to say about Bianca because she had way more screen time.

And glad you mentioned misoginy, cause that's what irked me while reading the story: conflicts among the ladies (the maid first and then the court gossip) are handled in a way that reaaally leans into casual misoginy. Both the situations per-se (the narrative of women trying to steal and seduce each other's men; mean gossiping that makes absolutely no sense from a political point of view in court..) and the way it's handled (bitch-slaps and power abuse over someone of weaker social standing). Basically those "female """villains"""" have no depth and are just an excuse to make "our" selected female protagonist's Entourage stand out.
Though, that goes beyond character characterisation and it's more an issue with the writing in general. it's not even that explicit, but even if they're subtle, after consuming so many medias it's a bit tiring seeing women getting put against each other with expedients like that over and over again.

lemon August 3, 2026 12:43 pm

Judging from the other comments I might change my mind once I read further but honestly wtf? Chapter 8 and she just beat up a servant and they say BIANCA needs a guard to avoid getting hurt (or to avoid people talking )? Huhhh talk about power abuse... ._.

She just transmigrated back so I guess she's at least 30 and yet she behaves like a teenager.. ehw

    GlitchX September 13, 2026 5:33 am

The reason for the guard is because she would barely leave her room and people still viewed her with hostility. The ML was concerned that if they’re capable of speaking badly of her then it’s only a matter of time before someone tries to get physical with her. So if something similar or worse happens, a guard can prevent a situation from escalating further.

I've been grinning the whole time during the last chapters :')

Also damn, I have a friend that's the spitting image of crystal, I was thinking of him the whole time xD

lemon July 29, 2026 9:48 pm

After spending centuries together won't be a regular normal human life feel extremely quick and short?

And what about the characters and relationships they formed in the other stories? Especially the cultivation world, where they (and his friends ) had long lasting relationships with the characters, that definitely went on longer than the life they lived in the original world?
MC and Ml might be different, alright, but what about MC friends? Don't get me wrong, I really loved this webcomic but especially since there's so much focus on feelings I find it weird that there's not even a thought about the existential dread that experiencing so many years and so many worlds and so many deaths would probably create

lemon April 25, 2026 4:59 pm

I saw summaries for this story going around and I completely got them wrong xD
I thought the maid was actually a man in disguise and that the ML was actually a very tall lady in disguise.. now I kinda want to read a story like that lmao

Btw this is still ongoing, you can find up to ch 86 on other websites
