Mann didn't expect this to be so thrilling especially plot-wise, like the gore and the extremes they go through are something i rarely see. even romance-wise, the chemistry is great (first time seeing a toothbrush make out session; passing gargle water lmfao). but what gets me is how the first chapter is so messed up especially now that we're nearing the present timeline, like nooo my babies why did it turn so friggin toxic

good plot and romance. it was super interesting at first, even tho it felt like agent candy was such a bad spy lol. i agree that they kinda dragged the romance at the latter half, which made the action/plot less thrilling with the pacing
