For anyone wondering who's Koi and Ashley Miller they have their own separate novel which is Lick me if you can. They're the parents of chase and grayson.
Side comment, IT'S SO FUNNY THAT EVERY SINGLE TIME IN BLs THE WORK INDUSTRY REALLY IS UNREALISTIC HAHAHAHA former ceo of a law firm?? Ex-attorney, then a senator??? And then the future president of the US??? I CAN'T HELP BUT LAUGH AT THIS HAHAHAHAHA
People finding where are the people who talked about the rape scene, I'm here. It’s still considered rape btw lmao especially if it’s non consenting and forced. Either way—i'm well aware that he wanted this from the start rhat’s why I said back then I honestly just feel sorry for him because he likes being used, tossed around, just so he can be beside someone
AGAIN, just because a person wanted it but never voiced out that they consent to such act or is even FORCED—it’s still rape omg ya’ll are kidding me. While we all know that “some” might’ve been played because Yeonwu always wanted this kind of attention from the start—it’s the forced and non consenting act that made it a rape scene and SA.
The “few” backstory of mincheol, just made us realized AGAIN that, he’s in the wrong. Great, thanks for nothing new. The backstory is sad yeah but holy shit, you’re still in the wrong even if we read this over and over again
It’s like when you’re listening to this problematic friend telling you a sob story of what happened to them THAT’S CLEARLY THEIR FAULT, and victimizes themselves on it and try blaming it to someone else just because they think they did something good in between those problem so they shouldn’t blame themselves.
Sure, he’s not entirely the problem but holy moly, the stuff I mentioned above is exactly who Micheol is
It’s odd that this manga feels uncomfortable to read (for me at least), probably because it really hits the nail. Their lives are unstable as omega’s. Even takatora’s life is unstable ever since he presented as an omega too. There’s patriarchy, misogyny, misandry, sexism, rape, predatory, pedophilia/incest, power play especially with money, hierarchy, stereotyping/generalization, infidelity, etc. i can’t keep up, like oh my goodness... That’s a lot of stuff... And it’s uncomfortable because everyone experience this irl. Most are women but others experience all of this secretly or we actually are experiencing this in modern times. Every chapter has a hint of fun times but it really hits you with stuff that will definitely make you feel so uneasy to face or discuss all of the things i’ve mentioned that i’ve analyzed in the manga... This is peak feminism genuinely, it’s sociopolitical, hierarchical.
Besides that, I really thought Takatora would have an end game with the omega, arikusa (?) because I love their dynamic but alas, Takatora is absolutely privileged, has superiority complex, an awful behavior like he can buy anything, plus throws unnecessary remarks that I would deem sexist. I love that arikusa (?) found a partner that will love him truthfully. But sometimes there's a hope in me that maybe they'll all figure their lives out, help the omega’s get the equality, fight they deserve and soon takatora will also figure out his life—and (for me of course) will find his way with arikusa (?) maybe they’ll really figure each other out too. But this is just me because I really like their dynamic and I love that omega. But genuinely, this is uncomfortable and uneasy to read for me but in a good way too

Every friday, I sit and grab my coffee, then read a shit full of nothing
