The side story starts after 3 years. The MC is finally out of prison. So during those years, apparently he only had s*x with the ML.

So after he went out of prison, he doesn't know what to do anymore. So he was about to go back to his old ways. Sleeping and scamming women, unfortunately, his buddy won't stand up anymore with women.

So he thought of other ways to live off other person, cause apparently, based from the translation, he doesn't want to do hard labor.

He tried to do it with a man (fat and ugly) in a motel, but got up immediately and left.

Then shortly after going out of the motel, he met with the ML who was at work and was released in prison already. Then MC started to blame ML, but doesn't directly say cause he is embarrassed, but said it eventually and MC asked ML to sleep with him one more time but ML refused.

Then MC secretly followed ML to his home and asked ML to take responsibility of him cause he can't get it up for women anymore.

Then both of them did it at ML's home. This and that happened then the end.

Note: The last part of the final chapter of side story actually got me a little bit confused since I only used a translator to read the dialogues.

So I do agree with some that he may be childish. But I did search for some spoilers and I came across some and told that the ML was not a red flag, and few of them mentioned that actually.

The mf brother, he is still alive. So I just looked at the raw chapter 19 and 20. So here is what I have seen. Please take note that I don't really understand korean, so this is just based from what I have seen, and translated some parts. And I didn't read the chapter 11-18 either cause im busy rn.

The MC was taking the healing orb or something then the mf brother came, and stole it from him then captured the MC.

Then they met ML, and bro has used the orb for his eyes (it was badly injured) infront of them and then he aimed (arrow) at the ML as he transforms into a monster, but the MC covered for him, and was shot by the arrow instead.

Then, bro attempted to shoot the ML again and ML caught it, then suddenly, the orb (maybe) rejected the bro and started to worsen his injured eye, then bro got caught, then executed. Then three months after, MC just woke up then both of them talked then happily ever after ♡(> ਊ <)♡


So this manhwa is only upto chapter 20.

At the end, their mother was sent to jail cuz, if I am not mistaken, she attempted to kill Hajin by hiring someone. The brother of Hajin realizes everything (their mother brainwashed him into hating Hajin) and apologized to him. Then Hajin decided to let the world know about the existence of his brother and they would fight (fairly) for the inheritance/ who would take over the company.


Honestly, that ending just doesn't sit right with me though because the apology just doesn't seem enough for me. But oh well, Hajin and Seonwoo are happy together already.

Tbh, I almost dropped this manhwa around chapter 30 or so because I wasn’t really liking the way the story was going. But I decided to keep reading out of curiosity. I eventually reached the ending, and it was alright.

Some people may like this and some wouldn't, and that's just how it is. We all have different taste and opinions, but for me, this might not be the best but not also the worst. So I did not actually regret continuing this. (◍•ᴗ•◍)

So for the ML, I am quite confused. I am not sure how he became twisted like that. I am not also sure if it was mentioned or not since I skimmed some chapters. I don't think it is entirely about his childhood. He seemed innocent when he was a child though.

And alsoooooo, how it is easy for the FL to forget what have just happened (his crime). Well, maybe it is because of the power of love? Haha Idk anymore.

This ends in Ch 47, where they both reunited at the hospital, and made up.

Sadly, there are no side stories. I am not sure if the raw chapters did not upload it or if there really are no side stories.(╥﹏╥)

So I've read the raws and I am so annoyed with the detective right now. I am not sure if the translation app that I have is 100% correct but, the detective thinks (i don't think he is sure yet) that he likes/loves jeong-in (Ch. 26 or 27). So when Jeong-in walked out (when they met and gave him the file and phone), the detective saw him with Beom-Yeong (seme), hugging and it is hinted that he was jealous (?)

Also, he was thinking that he should have reached out to him (jeong-in) sooner, talking about when he was visiting jeong-in when he was six years old or so.

He once said:
그 어린 남자애가 힘들고 괴로울 때 누구보다도 날 먼저 생각해 주길 바란다.

This is from one of the translation that I used: I hope that when that little boy is having a hard time and is in pain, he thinks of me before anyone else.


The latest raw chapter is on chapter 29. The detective died. He died on the train station, and it said on the news that he commited su*cide but i think the family (i guess), said that it is not su*cide.

Am just going to rant.

I really hate the detective, he just went to the victim who is a sole survivor of a massacre at the age of six, straight ahead, and he just yapped things about what happened to that traumatizing event. He should have known that jeong-in was and still traumatized with what happened when he was six years old as what happened to him was severe. But still, he chose to chase him and pester him annoyingly which made it worse for jeong-in as he has to remember the things that happened to him. I understand that he needs to remember but in not that kind of approach, like the detective did.


For the seme, As of now, we knew that he is the one who killed those people or he is the monster that they are talking about. I don't have my take yet as there's not much info about that in the current raw chapters. I'll just see how this story goes. Though, I know that what he did is wrong and wicked. But I do hope to get to see about his POV soon though, not to justify what he did but to understand the whole story. I know he is the perpetrator but there's still a lot of things I am curious about.

It's already 3am and I just cannot go to sleep without knowing what will happen to the mother.

So I was on Ch. 37, and just saw the mother, and I really got annoyed with her. So I researched about some spoilers about her in the novel. It is said that her son will get conscripted (the emperor broke his promise), and she (the mother) would be abandoned by her family/husband (?).

It was also stated that mc and her mom won't really have a good relationship in the future.

And my take from the spoiler is that she really didn't care for our mc. So, I guess, she deserve it(?)
