I think Kai is the real MC, he's been the greenest flag sk far, cares for her, doesn't just change his love for her based on if he's angry or not, can actually nag at her while still maintaining friendliness, well they're really good friends, he treats her as a fellow human, respects her boundaries, genuinely cares for her, always makes time to come spend time with her, thinks of good gifts she likes or might like to give to her, is with her during her lowest worst moments, always on her side even against big dukes...etc, he cherishes her and defends her and truly cares for her, most importantly, when she's with him, she is comfortable, she trusts him, she feels good, there was no weird creepy tension, she was never afraid he would harm her, she always knows he is a good guy and he makes her feel safe even when she's being playful and teases him, he is mature enough not to take it personally ad friendly enough to play her game and adds to it too, he's awesome, we love green flags.
But the ML should be someone who didn't have a relationship with the original, he must have feeling for the original so it wouldn't be right if he fell in love with MC (unless it was the typical "the original body was me the whole time, I just lost my memory and she was my past life" kind of narrative)

Hhh, I get it now I guess but it's still different, a twin is another person, our MC is probably the same soul, that's how it usually works in these genres, and Kai has no clue too, if it was a twin he would know and it would be gross even for him, but this one is the same person, her own father still treats her as his daughter, her brothers as well, so I don't get why it's a problem only when it's Kai, he never loved her to begin with, it has always been friendship they made it clear, so yeah, if they do fall in love he is still better than every character I read about so far, only the dads are usually kind and sweet kinda, the ml's are always lacking so for once we found an actually good and healthy one yeah I sure do hope he's the ml tbh, some said the mage guy, but he tied her up and was so paranoid idk I wouldn't like that if I were her, they've all been disrespectful, only Kai was ever always so consistent with her so yeah, if anything he's the only ml material that I like so far across most stories I've read, he's a one in a billion, it would be so dumb to choose anyone else. He is a green flag, what I mean is that unless MC is og MC (same soul) Kai shouldn't be with MC because (I think) he was in love with the real Rosella, that 20% must be for OG, not our protagonist.
ML should love MC for who she really is, not for the OG, that is why ML should be a new guy, with no relationship with OG (unless she is the same soul/past life OG)
