I mean I was ok with the mc being crazy but now idk. she woke up and the ml wasn’t around because he had an emergency at home and she slaps him because of it (she also says he didn’t have permission to leave the palace so maybe that’s why she slapped him)? I mean I know she acts like this because of something that happened in the past but hopefully she gets her character development soon. Oh and I really liked the story the ml told the mc so that was something I enjoyed haha. Anyway, I’m talking too much but I’m going to continue reading to see how this ends.
I’m pretty sure she did that cuz she was worried that lord yeom had killed him when he wasn’t by her side. She probably thought that cuz he did that to his sister (only assuming this). Anyways she felt bad about it but her pride (or bc she couldn’t explain herself/ open up about herself if she tried to explain why she slapped him) wouldn’t let her apologize so she left. That’s just what I think.
Yeah the whole situation just proves how much she’s already fallen for him in such a short time
Also can we all agree that she is also emotionally unstable and her actions are influenced because of her past, what she has gone through alongside the pressure of being empress ..... I mean we usually see the emperors with tragic pasts being all crazy and everything just like her ( but I think we see her even worse if not )
However I can't wait for her development and how ML will change her (づ￣ ³￣)づ
Not to be offensive or anything but I feel like cuz we expect women to be more mature/ act like we’re fine all the time so we didn’t expect the roles to be reversed in this manhwa (as in which person is toxic if there has to be a toxic person). I’m not saying that men aren’t mature or that they’re toxic ppl just saying typically emperor men in these manhwas are usually toxic. But it’s like when you expect the blonde to be a villainess in a typical reincarnation manhwa. Idk I just think we see her worse bc we expected her to NOT act like the toxic emperors in these stories. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

sorry I did not meant to say it in that way. You may be perfectly right about that one. I did say that I thought she seemed worse because I really thought so ....I'm not sure if I did unconsciously or I mainly compared her to other females and by far she is one of the top ones.
But yeah it makes sense we are used to seeing men behave like that in manhwas that when we see a woman we unconsciously think it's worse.
Probably also because it's rarer where we see woman be so tyrannical.

Yw just wanted to put out my opinion on why most of us thought this empress is “worse”. I’m not saying she hasn’t done bad things but we should take into account all the factors as to why we think she’s a good villainess character. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

5.3 was almost like another version of the very first chapter, both fiancés got hurt except in the first chapter it was the girl that said “I love you” and the guy who said “I love you” in 5.3. I thought the girl in 5.3 was actually going to decline and I got happy abt it but no....well anyway I definitely liked the volumes before 5 but it was still ok
