I’d say it’s plausible that hyuk doesn’t recognize him, because of the hair change etc. but the fact that he couldn’t do the math to put two and two together is a bit odd. I feel like dr. Han however had probably recognized Hyuk from the start.

I feel like they haven't focused so much on the chemistry between Hyun-je and Seungmin compared to the other manhwa's/Hyun-je is kinda emotionally constipated when it comes to expressing his feelings and that's why it may be hard to feel the chemistry between them.
