Its worth reading though, I didn't like it at first, and the cover wasn't attractive to me so I always skip it, but someone recommend it to me before because they said it was funny, the plot wasn't boring, and it was fresh read, because some plot are recycled too much I was getting bored but this one is different.

Yes, with this kind of genre it's obvious that the MC does get strong along the way lol BUT what makes this novel interesting is that
as the story goes by, readers will realize it's not just about the MC's strength and lungs anymore. It's more about how this green alien will navigate his life in earth. Learning more about og!kim giryeo, discovering a plot twist about one of the main cast's identity, and getting a more detailed reason as to why the green alien actually regressed (and how it's connected to earth). The first few chapters (Chaps 1-3?) is really important, it somehow spoiled everything that built this novel but at the same time it didn't. Rather it "simplified" the most important parts of the story and we're gonna learn more about this soon!!!

i read the novel when i saw someone say some lore was omitted from this particular chapter, and i think it was about the carnation children. and yeah, it was sad that they decided to omit that bit of world-building, because that definitely would've added to how their society progressed after gio went in the painting. hopefully, they do bring it up in future chapters, cause i think the carnation children would become beneficial for plot purposes.

and just thinking about the irony of the carnation children already abandoned in the novel, but choosing to not include their spotlight in this visual chapter is definitely a choice.
that should hopefully happen in the next chapter. the carnation children talk was during the initiation ceremony
not just in this chapter actually, there's so much omitted details but nothing doesn't really change much, i do wish it won't be like this for argio
the manwha illustration is adorable, yes, but it does omit many aspect of the story that i like. the world building, the chairman characterization, even the hyper focused highlight of the food making (i'm sure that's one of the author hobby, i mean how can a non-foodie describe it that detailed). if i'm the novel author i'd be a bit heartbroken to see my work shaved this much. it kinda does the job tho to deliver the essence
