Like…what if all the monsters he sees in the dark are his family that died in the fire..like u can tell the sleeping one has somewhat been burnt because he resembles the guy at the beginning who had been burnt to death, with his skin melted off. I think his trauma's are kinda like a guilt, if u get what i mean. He said he feels guilty for being alive so its possible that those butterflies and monsters are his family that died and since he feels guilty for being a survivor. His guilt soon turns into a trauma.
I really wanted to reread this beautiful story, but found that I didnt have enough time to read the whole thing, so I just looked at the last 2 chapters...those 2 chapters are enough to have me bawling my eyes out...i really wished he didnt have to die
