I kind of regret being neutral. Now I fully side with shoira’s side. SB is just really good at victimising themselves from how they expresses themselves in their tumblr blog. I was there seeing them “dissing” shoira’s translation in their own server. Shoira was talking very level-headedly without any cussing and dissing. But I don’t see SB writing this in their blog. The audacity for them to say they were attacked.
Not only do we lose a really good fan community here in mgg now that shoira is leaving, we will be getting bland translations and a normal community from now on.
They at least didnt do it publically then, unlike Shoira, because it wasnt in their fan discord. So they didnt go around poking bulls to attack Shoira.
Besides that, legitimately, Shoira isnt as good lmao. Does anyone every actually put these side by side when they say stuff like that? I guess scans are bland without a worse grammar and punctuation to rely on for flavor huh.
And they were attacked here for five days since notyou pulled this bs and they didnt say anything bad in the mgg comments about Shoira except for pointing out Shoira was actually the first sniper which is not an attack when it's both true and self defense. But then Shoira comes out swinging.
You can blame Shoira and those who were mindlessly attacking Scan Beans and bringing them in the first place for your loss.

There is a lot people do not know and I just want this to be over with but I was ANGRY at multiple things. Look at it from my perspective, wouldn't you be pissed to have your close friend be pulled into something that they didn't sign up for in a huge ass server? Or while trying to talk (and I really did try) being dogpiled on. I made mistakes yesterday and I need to work on being calm cause as a friend said 'i keep digging myself deeper' BUT I will not apologize for caring for a friend. I don’t think anyone have the rights or should be judging the quality of either of the scans. Both shoira and beans worked really hard in their own ways to give us the chance to read it in English. There is no official translation in English so both teams are doing illeg@l shit. Both teams are ste@ling from author no cap.

But heck, I wouldn’t even go and judge their quality or translations or speech flow or whatever the sh*t the comments are going on about since I don’t know Korean myself. I just wanna read the story peacefully and simp the characters with you guys.
It’s just a general courtesy thing in the translator community. Spoken as well as unspoken so they should know better. Plus with so many other stories that actually are dropped they could spend that time on other material rather than prematurely taking one that clearly already had dedicated translators smh. Spread the love please. So many dropped titles could use it.
